We are committed to driving innovation and best practice in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, leading with ethical approaches to all our activities, access to medicines and reinvestment into the communities we operate in.
We are the world's largest Consumer Healthcare company, with a broad portfolio spanning pain relief, specialist oral health, skin health, nutrition, and digestion. Australians probably know us best for trusted brands like Panadol, Voltaren, Sensodyne, Advil and Centrum which have become household names.
Our 9-month, full-time Industry Based Learning Program provides penultimate and final year students as well as recent graduates with practical 'hands-on' work experience that will set you apart from your peers. You will be a part of a program designed to give you real work experience and optimise your professional development for future opportunities.
This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of Technology across the Consumer Healthcare business.
You will support the rollout of global technology platforms across Australia and New Zealand and educate business users on collaboration and communication tools and technology. You'll assist with global IT strategic deployments by partnering with the global project teams and the local business. By doing so, you'll be a trusted point of contact for technology advice and guidance to the business.
We are looking for ambitious, career-driven students and graduates to join our program. You must be in your penultimate or final year of study, or a recent graduate of a Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Science, communications or related degree to be eligible.

This process takes place over the course of around five weeks, updates will be regularly communicated across email.

GSK is a science led, global pharmaceutical company with a special purpose to help people do more, feel better and live longer.
There are so many opportunities to grow and gain new experiences. There is so much diversity in the workplace which means everyone is always respected.
Great culture, friendly people, supportive environment
GSK has a very good culture - very encouraging and always looking for ways to help people develop.
The people and culture make working for GSK very enjoyable
I loved the opportunities and responsibility given to the IBLs, we were truly valued members of the organisation and were a key part of creating the fun and supportive culture that GSK has
The opportunity to develop into areas that are of great interest, as well as the overall team environment.
Very fast paced environment
The role was sometimes too repetitive.
The work itself wasn't aligned to my work goals and career aspirations, possibly the job description wasn't accurate when I applied.
Complex structures and multiple locations made it hard to service all businesses equally
Time management
Pay is low, not many opportunities to move/ grow
