We have several opportunities available across the Pharmaceutical business:

  • Digital Marketing Associate

The Digital Marketing Associate working in the Digital Marketing team will work with multiple stakeholders in the business to produce great customer experiences for our online platforms. Excellent experiences when using health.gsk, receiving email marketing, attending webinars and visiting other GSK websites/online activities. In this role you will learn how to manage digital projects and the importance of digital marketing – why it is an essential part of marketing today. You will support the publishing of online content, working hand in hand with our design centre, content managers and brand managers. You will support the use and delivery of multiple online channels – email, webinars, SMS, click-to-chat and more. This is a unique opportunity to understand the importance of analytics in delivering insights and understand whether customers are satisfied with what GSK are offering.

  • Respiratory Marketing Associate

Respiratory is the largest portfolio in the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a large team of brand marketers and engage in a variety of activities across the marketing mix, including engagement with a large field force, development and delivery of an integrated marketing campaign and partnering cross functionally across the business. You will assist in the creation of print and digital materials to be used by the field force, manage systems and workflows as well as training sales force members on the programs/activities/processes.

  • Sales & Marketing Excellence Associate

The Sales & Marketing Excellence Team supports the Field Force & Marketing Teams in a number of ways, working cross functionally with key stakeholders in the business from the Senior Executive Team to Medical Representatives. You will work on varied projects and in all facets of the business, as we are the main communication channel between Head Office and our strong field force. As a result, you will build stronger relationships with colleagues as you interact with numerous departments and teams daily. This increased exposure to networking and working across boundaries, highlights the key difference between the Sales & Marketing Excellence Associate and other marketing roles.

  • Vaccines Marketing Associate

As a key member of the Vaccines marketing team, you will work with an integrated and experienced team to support key marketing and disease awareness campaigns, ensuring that you gain a broad depth of marketing experience. You will support the communication and implementation of new sales and marketing processes, provide input to the development of programs to enhance sales and marketing capabilities, be responsible for collecting information and analysing the results required for development of new programs. You will also develop and support digital brand executions (websites, webcasts, email marketing) and prepare monthly and quarterly brand/portfolio reports.

  • ViiV Healthcare Marketing Associate

You will assist the ViiV Marketing team by providing support for delivering the brand tactical plan including digital projects in the HIV therapy area. ViiV Healthcare is the only pharmaceutical company in the world to be 100% focused on the treatment of HIV. This is your chance to be part of an innovative, passionate and skilled team who truly want to make a difference to the lives of people living with HIV. Through this role you will obtain both digital and brand marketing experience in a dynamic and growing market. You will manage marketing projects working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of assets, approvals, and deployments, you will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on marketing campaigns and content.

We are looking for passionate, high-performing and motivated students to join our program. You must be in your penultimate or final year of your undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related degree to be eligible.

  • An interest in pursuing a career in the healthcare industry is favourable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with initiative and an eagerness to learn
  • High attention to detail, rigor and process, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management, to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
  • Ability to quickly build strong internal & external networks

Applications for the program close on Monday 5th August. Our recruitment process involves eligibility questionnaire at application, World of GSK online assessment, video interview and assessment centre. This process takes place over the course of around 8 weeks, updates will be regularly communicated across email.

    • Very fast paced environment

    • The role was sometimes too repetitive.

    • The work itself wasn't aligned to my work goals and career aspirations, possibly the job description wasn't accurate when I applied.

    • Complex structures and multiple locations made it hard to service all businesses equally

    • Time management

    • Pay is low, not many opportunities to move/ grow
