Based in our Ermington office, our large and dynamic marketing team works with some of Australia's most recognisable brands including Panadol, Voltaren, Macleans, Nicabate and Sensodyne, creating fully integrated marketing campaigns including above and below the line activations, digital and social media engagement, in-store and on-shelf promotions as well as materials and promotions for the sales force.

We have 2 exciting internships available within our marketing teams where you will gain a broad exposure to a range of marketing activities and make an important contribution to the overall success of the business. You will work alongside a group of inspiring marketers who will provide guidance and coaching as you develop your marketing capability throughout your placement.

A strong passion and interest in Digital Marketing for both roles are a must. Your role will include supporting the delivery of impactful connections plans which brings the consumer experience to life across all touch points including digital to drive behaviour change and category/brand growth.

What we're looking for in a candidate:

  • You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor Degree in Business, Commerce or Marketing.
  • Digital marketing experience is very favourable
  • An interest in pursuing a career in the consumer healthcare or FMCG industry is favourable
  • Ability to use excel at an intermediate level would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Initiative and an eagerness to learn
  • Customer focus – Internal and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, rigor and process
  • Excellent project management, to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects

Marketing Associate - Oral Health

Working on the Oral Health portfolio you will be supporting the delivery of in-market Activation Plans which include robust planning, prioritisation and decision making skills to deliver brand/category growth, delivering annual strategic Market Activation Plans and supporting the delivery of New Product Introductions.
Other responsibilities may include:

  • Work in a collaborative way with the shopper & expert teams to deliver a consistent campaign across the purchase journey
  • Play an active
  • Part in delivering accurate forecasting (sales & A&P), monitoring consumption, tracking financial performance for brand vs. key metrics

Marketing Associate – Pain Management

The role will work with the Brand Manager to develop and implement the brand strategies, objectives and communication plans. The primary focus will be Pain Management categories.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute in the preparation and execution of healthcare professional communications plans that support the marketing strategy as agreed with the Brand Manager. These can include media plan briefs, advertising and promotional activities or other activities that may require working with external agencies and internal regulatory and medical personnel
  • Monitor and evaluate market and competitor activity in the healthcare professional space and recommend response plans.

    • The work itself wasn't aligned to my work goals and career aspirations, possibly the job description wasn't accurate when I applied.

    • Complex structures and multiple locations made it hard to service all businesses equally

    • Pay is low, not many opportunities to move/ grow
