We are looking for passionate, high-performing and motivated students to join our Industry Based Learning Program commencing in January 2019. This 12-month program enables penultimate and final year undergraduate students to gain valuable work experience in a global pharmaceutical business focused on enabling people to do more, feel better and live longer.
We are looking for interns with ambition, passion and a proactive approach. You will be a clear, effective communicator who can quickly build rapport with a wide range of people. You are a real team player who actively collaborates with others. In addition, you'll have an analytical mind and a talent for multi-tasking.
Why the Industry Based Learning Program?
As a Procurement Intern you will develop an understanding of how global organizations such as GSK source products and services and how this makes an impact on how efficiently and effectively pharmaceutical and consumer products are delivered to the world. In this role each day will be different, you will provide procurement support to multiple functions within the business and assist in managing and facilitating procurement projects. You will be integral in developing implementation strategies and providing support to the Procurement Team. You will play a role in strategic sourcing and category management, identifying savings opportunities and providing solutions to add value to the business.
Timeline & Assessment Process
Applications open for the program on Monday 6th August and close on Friday 31st August at 12pm. Our recruitment process involves eligibility and motivation questionnaire at application, online testing, video interview and an assessment centre. This process takes place over the course of around 8 weeks, updates will be regularly communicated across email.
