We are looking for passionate, high-performing and motivated students to join our Industry Based Learning Program commencing in January 2019. This 12-month program enables penultimate and final year undergraduate students to gain valuable work experience in a global pharmaceutical business focused on enabling people to do more, feel better and live longer.

As a Supply Chain Intern at GSK you will be immersed in a global end to end Supply Chain. You are tasked with the responsibilities of managing stock and stakeholders from manufacturing site through to customer. You will coordinate, provide insight and support the forecast process on a cyclical basis. You will be key in communicating inventory positions and assist with negotiating supply plans with supply chain managers across the business. You will work closely with the Quality team and pro-actively work with all business teams to resolve challenges and minimise risk to GSK.

Timeline & Assessment Process

Applications open for the program on Monday 6th August and close on Friday 31st August at 12pm. Our recruitment process involves eligibility and motivation questionnaire at application, online testing, video interview and an assessment centre. This process takes place over the course of around 8 weeks, updates will be regularly communicated across email.

Preferred qualifications:

  • You must be in your penultimate or final year of an undergraduate degree in Business or Supply Chain upon commencement of the program in January 2019
  • An interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry is favourable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with initiative and an eagerness to learn
  • High attention to detail, rigor and process, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management, to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
  • Ability to quickly build strong internal & external networks
