Diversity at Leidos

Difficult at times for ethnic minorities due to needing a security clearance to be able to do most of the work

They hold focus groups to talk to diverse individuals and to ask their opinions on important work matters

Extremely inclusive and so supportive of women in the workplace. Recruitment exists also for neurodiversity.

They specifically introduced inclusiveness as a global company value to highlight this part of the organisation.

There are groups and programs for attracting women and other minorities to the company.

Inclusivity is a recent value that's been following along the company well, most people are very respectful of differences

The company does its best to be diverse, but due to its line of work and customers, it is difficult to find people that fit into some diversity groups which are also able to work on our projects. Skills are valued and rewarded, and our CEO Christine is committed to giving women the skills required to progress in their careers which is great.

Seems to be a very diverse and accepting workplace, you can work from home if you have family commitments on a certain day

I think my area is really good, other areas of the company aren't as diverse. In large part due to requirements of clearance for government contracts.

there is lots of diversity, there is a great range of people from different walks of life.

When I arrived we had 1 woman in the team I work with and now there are 4. I do believe they are trying but I'm not sure if they are trying hard enough. I don't think we are very ethnically diverse because only people who are Australian can get defence clearance so it's unlikely that they would hire many people from different backgrounds.
