Picking up Jira tickets and working on them. Plenty of opportunities to take on more responsibility which requires attending more meetings and talking to more people, which I have done as well.

My day to day responsibilities are varied! Which is the beauty of this role and organisation.

Sprints for feature development, backlog refinement meetings, retrospectives etc.

First graduate rotation consists of responding to IT support tickets in a L2 role. This requires me to perform various IT functions to address the reported issues and requests. Currently I can't do too much, due to security requirements and pending training.

So far we are working on tickets to learn how the systems here work so that we can build on that in the future with other projects

Flexible role, leaves pace and growth in my hands. day to day responsibilities include generic software engineering tasks.

I do software development for web-based applications, with occasional document handling in the future

Writing lots of documentation is not what I enjoy the most, but now that we are moving on to development on the actual project day to day work is much more enjoyable.

Do back-end development in Java, review people's code, expand my technical knowledge, provide task ideas and suggestions to improve our development process, research on a new technology or framework to use for our project.

We have a decent structure to our work process which keeps things grounded and the team connected. However outside of short meetings and such have a lot of autonomy.

There are a few weeks of getting settled - doing training modules - but then software developement work

I am a graduate accountant and have just started so I don't have many responsibilities at the moment. I am focused on learning the systems and roles of each team member at the moment.

Designing and engineering software solutions. Code review. Testing. Web dev. Backend.

I have clear objectives and the means to complete them.

As a software engineer, I complete software implementation and design tasks, system integration, and task planning with the rest of the team. Most teams follow an agile approach to development.
