Induction is very good insight into what working at the company will be like. Formal training is quite tedious to go through, but hands on training is fun

Did front-end development in TypeScript and React. Main skills I've picked up are the aforementioned technologies plus Git, JetBrains IDEs (Webstorm, IntelliJ, PyCharm, etc.), practical experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

Training could be a little more proactive, the onus is very much on the employee to find relevant and available training. Internal training is soft skills focused which is not so useful for non customer-facing work such as the Software Engineering I do.
