The Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) was established by the Victorian Government to oversee one of the largest rail infrastructure projects in the state's history. LXRP is part of the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority and our projects fall under Victoria’s Big Build (bigbuild.vic.gov.au)

Central to the project is the elimination of 75 level crossings across metropolitan Melbourne by 2025, in addition to other rail network upgrades such as new train stations, track duplication and train stabling yards. To find out more about our projects and their progress, visit our Projects page (levelcrossings.vic.gov.au/projects).

We believe in inclusiveness, diversity and equality and are committed to ensuring that our workplaces are a reflection of the Victorian community. We recognise the benefits that a diverse and inclusive culture brings for our employees and in turn, encourage talented people from all backgrounds, abilities and identities to apply to our vacancies. We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, people with a disability and others from underrepresented backgrounds to apply.

  • The flexibility to move around departments and join in on projects I'm interested in.
  • The variety of tasks and range of experiences on offer.
  • Uncertainty about the graduate program.
  • Poor structure and lack of communication around graduate development. Very generic learning development plan and not much tailoring of rotations to match the discipline of the graduate.
  • Software systems are not leading edge.
  • Would like a more hands-on approach to planning.
  • Lack of defined job scope.
