About us:
The Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA) exists to deliver infrastructure projects for the Victorian Government. Melbourne is growing - our population is projected to grow from 4.5 million to almost 8 million by 2051. Victoria's population is expected to be more than 10 million by 2051. This means Melbourne's transport network will need to cater for around 10 million more trips a day.
The Victorian Government's vision for Melbourne is to ensure that it continues to be a global city of opportunity and choice. We need to create a sustainable and resilient city that will serve us well into the future. Our Vision at LXRA is 'Delivering Great Change, Transforming the way Victorians live, work and travel'. Change for the positive is at the heart of our work, be it for local commuters, road users, rail commuters and within our organisation and industry.
We believe in inclusiveness, diversity and equality and are committed to ensuring that our workplaces are a reflection of the Victorian community. We recognise the benefits that a diverse and inclusive culture brings for our employees and in turn, encourage talented people from all backgrounds, abilities and identities to apply to our vacancies. We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, people with a disability and others from under-represented backgrounds to apply.

LXRP was established by the Victorian Government to oversee one of the largest rail infrastructure projects in the state's history.
Working on a high-profile, high-impact project.
Plenty of support given to graduates with a strong company culture. Good work-life balance.
Great emphasis on work-life balance
The flexibility to move around departments and join in on projects I'm interested in.
The variety of tasks and range of experiences on offer.
Uncertainty about the graduate program.
Poor structure and lack of communication around graduate development. Very generic learning development plan and not much tailoring of rotations to match the discipline of the graduate.
Software systems are not leading edge.
Would like a more hands-on approach to planning.
Lack of defined job scope.
