Pros and cons of working at Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) AU

Pros

  • Working on a high-profile, high-impact project.

  • Plenty of support given to graduates with a strong company culture. Good work-life balance.

  • Great emphasis on work-life balance

  • The flexibility to move around departments and join in on projects I'm interested in.

  • The variety of tasks and range of experiences on offer.

Cons

    • Uncertainty about the graduate program.

    • Poor structure and lack of communication around graduate development. Very generic learning development plan and not much tailoring of rotations to match the discipline of the graduate.

    • Software systems are not leading edge.

    • Would like a more hands-on approach to planning.

    • Lack of defined job scope.
