McGrathNicol is a specialist Advisory and Restructuring firm trusted by blue chip clients to partner with them to devise and implement pragmatic solutions for complex business issues.

In McGrathNicol's Canberra office, we help our Commonwealth Government clients and both listed and private companies, including assisting some of Australia's leading and best known organisations to perform better. Our involvement can vary from providing strategic advice on governance arrangements, through to actively managing distressed companies, assisting businesses in analysing their financial performance, investigating fraudulent behaviour, providing advice on internal assurance frameworks and undertaking internal audit engagements for Government organisations.

As a Graduate in Canberra, you will gain broad exposure to all of our services and assist in providing Advisory services for a diverse range of Commonwealth Government clients, ranging from peak funding bodies across various Australian Government portfolios to some of Australia's largest Government departments. Some of our key Government clients include the Department of Industry, the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the National Health and Medical Research Council, the Department of Health and Ageing, Department of Human Services, and the Department of Defence.

We are currently accepting applications for our 2020 Graduate Program and are seeking students with:

  • passion, knowledge and interest in our work;
  • excellent analytical and problem solving capability; and
  • the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

To be eligible for the program you must be:

  • an Australian Citizen at the time of submitting your application;
  • in your final year or graduated within 18 months of a business, commerce or related degree, with a major in accounting, economics or finance; and available to commence full-time work in early 2020.
