Working Hours at Nous Group

Very flexible, however work can be intense at times.

The consulting industry is marked by 200 hour months and our company is no different. We do however have a good working from home option, with tech support to facilitate working remotely.

Nous is flexible about when you work, but the work has to get done. Typical hours would be 8am-6pm every day.

There is an expectation that over the year you will work 200 hour months on average. Beyond this stipulation, there is huge flexibility in when/where you work those hours. It's entirely up to you to manage this which is wonderfully flexible and allows you to fit your life in around work. In saying that, sometimes you will work very long hours.

Long hours but expected in consulting. It's very flexible as you self manage your time and can work from anywhere.

The contract at Nous is 200 hours a month for all levels of consultants (up to our Principals). This is on average pretty accurate. As with any consulting firm, there are busy weeks and less busy weeks. The organisation allows great levels of flexibility and trust. You are trusted to work wherever and whenever you want, as long as you are doing right by your project teams and the client. We work at high intensity, so you have to be ready to work out. Fortunately, Nous is not like other firms which require 80+hr weeks.

We are expected to do around 50 hours a week. I average around 55. these hours can however be completed in an extremely flexible way
