The PwC culture is very strong. There is a clear hierarchy however, collaboration exists across all levels with most partners being very involved in the team's work. Teamwork is very strong, especially in audit which assists in getting the work done as well as making the work more enjoyable. PwC is a very social organisation. There are regular events for each division and I like how they conduct multiple events for base camp so we can get to know each other.

Extremely friendly and unassuming company culture. Everyone is open to conversation at all times. Accepts and fosters different ideas and thoughts. Very active social with drinks every week, event every month both during and after working hours.

Heavy and persistent emphasis on networking both within your team, within other teams, and with external individuals. The culture varies significantly from team to team. My personal experiences have been of a supportive and inclusive culture which encourages people to be themselves. The organisational structure is quite rigid and very slow to change. The hierarchy is professional rigid and socially fluid. Socialising amongst colleagues is encouraged both with peers and superiors. The work is project work and often occurs in teams - cooperation and teamwork is facilitated through various tools and frameworks.

The people are great - diverse and interesting. The culture definitely depends which team you are in. I am lucky to be able to fully utilise flexible working arrangements - working from home and setting my own start/finish times. There are some social events but the flexibility to work from home really brings the culture up.

We have a strong 'work hard, play hard' approach across PwC- with events, dinners or gatherings always a part of my week outside of work which helps with bonding. The hours can be quite long, but it is to be expected given my job. Leadership is amazing, with a very relaxed hierarchy where everyone (from our partners down to associates) is available to you.

Good culture. Is a hierarchy model but has been split into teams so have involvement across multiple levels.

In the office: lively, happy, focused, welcoming, accepting. After hours: quiet as people focus.. Socialising is easy and great with people from across different floors. I also feel my team is good at distributing the workload evenly and stepping in to help each other when needed with no complaints. It is not difficult to cooperate with anyone I have worked with so far.

The team I am in has a lot of social events and we make sure to have a team dinner every couple of months. We also try to have coffee together as much as possible to ensure that every team member is feeling positive.
Graduate, Perth - 11 Sep 2017
The whole team is very supportive and always willing to help. You get to know one another rather quickly especially when working in small project teams within your BU. Social events occur often and are always a lot of fun whilst still remaining professional.
Graduate, Perth - 11 Sep 2017
A lot of fun however there is pressure associated!
Graduate, Perth - 11 Sep 2017
It depends on the individuals that make up the team - in my case, my team is supportive, constantly challenging me but ensuring that I have the appropriate guidance
Melbourne - 10 Sep 2017
Everyone is friendly, always social events happening.
Graduate, Melbourne - 10 Sep 2017
Graduate culture could be stronger, I feel as if there is a disconnect between all graduates.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Sep 2017
The people are friendly, with the firm being welcome and warm to new starters
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Sep 2017
The overall *company* culture is very poor, with the over allocation of work and extreme hierarchical structure with a fair amount of office politics. Within my team, it is much better, but still very affected by the firm wide culture.
Midlevel, Sydney - 08 Sep 2017
Very structured team with business unit leaders, managers and consultants. Team is very friendly, inclusive and works together well. Team socialises quite often outside of work including with drinks and lunches and weekend events organised through an office wide social club.
Graduate, Adelaide - 08 Sep 2017
Relatively flat hierarchy when socialising
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Sep 2017
Very flat hierarchy, supportive and genuine, yet hard-working. After-hours the team is young and fun.
Melbourne - 08 Sep 2017
Flexible working allows hours to be spent where best suits the individual.
Graduate, Adelaide - 08 Sep 2017
Good during normal hours. The culture after hours is both good and bad. Good as the people are generally pretty gregarious but bad as you're there after hours, and is more common than you think
