9.0
9.0 rating for Diversity, based on 137 reviews
Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
There has been a lot of recent communications about diversity and inclusion at PwC. There is also a big push for diversity in upper management which is exciting.

Seems good. PwC pushes for increased number of women in the workplace and in higher positions. I have attended various networking sessions PwC seems to rank poorly regarding people of colour, especially at the partner level I have come across managers on maternity and paternity leave. Apart from this I haven't looked into the issue further

There is a significant investment in the diversity and inclusion programmes with affinity groups for at least women, people with disabilities, queer individuals, and people from varying cultural backgrounds. There is a focus on recruiting these individuals and supporting them in the firm.

Have communities such as GLEE, LGBT. Host functions and events specifically for it and continually send around emails promoting it and do talks.

My entire team is roughly a 50% on gender. The team is also very ethnically diverse with staff originating from all over the world. They are also very supportive of the LGBT community often raising awareness through special events.

The company does not discriminate against women, ethnic minorities and the LGBT community. Maternity leave is provided and there is a policy where employees can work from home if needed. The company is committed to ensuring it is diverse and accepting of those who are considered in the minority.

The company has many policies in place to promote diversity. One is the 40/40/20 partnership target, meaning 40% of partners will be male, 40% female, and 20% discretionary according to business needs.

Working really hard to get there and taking D&I very seriously
Midlevel, Sydney - 07 Sep 2017
child care and maternity leave options are available and there are people of many different backgrounds in the office
Graduate, Newcastle - 07 Sep 2017
There is a large commitment to diversity, but depending on what the issue is, there's very little tangible movement in the space. LGBT is fantastically covered. However, issues like women and ethnic diversity appears to fall short. The efforts to discuss this seems to be more than other firms put in though.
