My daily work involves auditing company's financial statements. At times, this work can be interesting, in terms of learning how companies operate. There are times when the work can be a little monotonous and repetitive which can make it boring at times.

Researching industry trends, writing reports based on findings, consulting with external stakeholders, analysis of current products in the market.

Auditing clients and risk assurance work in the financial services industry

My role as a consultant in advisory is to prepare bills for client meetings, ensure client meetings have been scheduled in advance, manage and organise all client prep a month before the client meeting. Also need to manage the SDC team to have our work completed when needed. I then review the work SDC have done and provide them feedback. I also attend client meetings as support.

Consultant that provides advice relating to innovation and incentives schemes.

My day-to-day responsibilities differ depending on my current project. They can range from technical work, to meetings, to proposal and report writing.

I don't understand all areas of my role, and currently feel that I can not embark on L&D opportunities

Assisting clients with identifying security vulnerabilities and recommendations to improve information security.

Compliance work - reviewing distributions by trusts, tax returns, applications to the ATO, consulting advice, various calculations

Audit Clients

Technical assessments, reporting, project and staff management, internal software tool development.

My responsibilities have included mostly detailed testing on client sites for a range of different jobs and more recently on planning for upcoming jobs

Tax and advisory services

Awarded a lot of responsibility - role is in valuations and I get a lot of autonomy with some very big projects/clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include market analysis, trading/transaction comparable analyses, DCF/valuations

I am currently working on a business case to submit a real cost increase proposal for a government organisation.

Pretty much on excel, doing data entry

Perform corporate tax compliance and consulting tasks, liaise with clients.

My role is as an accountant and I support my team in their day to day tasks, but i also take charge of many different FSLIs.

Varies greatly and can be working on teams in different sectors in different roles so there is no typical day

Everyday if different, opportunity to work for clients across a wide variety of industries.
