7.5
7.5 rating for Culture, based on 11 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Amazing. Everyone in my division are very approachable and good to talk to. After-work culture is also great, however we are given multiple socialisation opportunities during work hours. Managers and directors are all very friendly and approachable, they also provide great support and complement high quality work.

My workplace culture is fantastic. I feel supported, valued and connected to my team. I understand my role within the organisation. The hierarchy is there, but I do not feel disconnected from my executives as I work with them regularly. Outside the office, we don't often socialise together. I feel like that is because we are such a strong team during business hours e.g. we meet every morning for work, have lunch together at work, and take time at work to build on our relationships e.g. by having non-work related conversations whilst at work. That said, everyone is very committed to our cause and so although fostering team culture is a big part of our day-to-day, we also work very hard as well.

Very hierarchical as is normal for the public service. Very cooperative and collaborative, with a big emphasis on teamwork. My team does a weekly quiz but otherwise not much socialising outside of work hours. I often attend work-related events after hours.

Excellent team. Flat hierarchy with a lot of trust placed in relatively junior employees. Occasional after-work socialising.

Inclusive and supportive culture

There is a clear hierarchy but the upper echelons of my Division are accessible. Teams work well together and (at least among junior employees) people are happy to help. Socialising generally occurs on Friday evenings, but not too much pressure is placed to e.g. have a drink.
