You are expected to work 7.5h within the range of 6 am to 6 pm. Typically, people start between 7 and 9 am. I rarely needed to work extra hours, however purely to advance my own learning, I have occasionally stayed back a few extra hours a week.

Contracted to work 37.5 hours a week. My company is very flexible with working hours - I can put in more hours on certain days to get time in lieu on other days.
