Pros & Cons
The tasks I am working on are interesting and matter.
Great chance to learn from some of the best in the industry. Working at the forefront of technology.
Everyone is friendly and they ensure all employees are keep up to date with what is happening within the company.
Friendly environment, everyone's is happy to assist and there is a strong culture of training and mentoring graduates.
Flexibility in work/life balance e.g., start and end times are flexible within reason gym memberships promoting health initiatives such as the GCC step counting challenge.
Some processes are tedious.
My team work in a separate classified building, as I am waiting for my clearance to be processed sometimes it can be lonely and hard to self-motivate as I am always working on tasks alone.
Do to the need to know basis of most project content, information and knowledge sharing can be low.
Working on old and out dated technologies that won't help you down the track.
The need to know basis on which knowledge is shared between projects.

Ranks are about proving yourself, you must work hard to get further.
I was part of the GCC challenge - where a team of 7 participants will carry pedometers and track their steps throughout a 100 day period, and compete with other teams from countries all around the world. Lockheed also provides support for its employees through a program provided by HR.
Great culture within teams and even projects, but disconnect between upper management and lower levels. LM social club provides additional opportunity to socialise with colleagues outside of work hours.
The two graduates from this year were myself (male), and a female. There is a level of respect that is maintained in the office around her and every other employee, so I do not see any discrimination in any form there.
Low-walled cubicles for easier communication but also allows for quiet periods. Location and facilities are well-presented and secure. We have a nice kitchen with free coffee from a pod machine. Dress code is semi-formal. Men wear suit pants and collared shirts, and women are in work clothes.
Relatively short interview with future manager. Went through university achievements and results, areas of study. Also discussed social activities listed on resume. Discussion of security clearance requirement to work for company.
