Pros & Cons
Scope of work is huge. We take on real projects and work with real tangible outcomes to our team and customers.
People - great culture. Robust and fast-paced. Given a lot of responsibility as a graduate
Very flexible work. It feels like they are constantly trying to improve for their employees. I feel welcome and supported by my team and personnel.
The pay is competitive, the work is challenging but rewarding and there is plenty of opportunities to leave your mark on the business.
Working in a small team of like-minded people, I am exposed to a vast range of projects, tasks and challenges. Despite being only four months into my graduate program, I already feel a sense of worth amongst my colleagues.
The autonomy I am given and the versatility of my role
Technology can be slow at times
It is a large organisation so if you are not proactive then you can get lost.
At times there's long working hours - but you'd get that in any workplace!
Distribution of resources. Some departments are overworked, specifically merchandise.
The amount of bureaucracy and red tape. Large organisations are very hard to make agile
At the moment, there are no standouts, but it does seem like a small minority of employees can fall into the trap of being quite inward-looking (avoiding direct competitors and showing bias)

There are many opportunities to "climb" the ranks here. There are ex-grads that are General Managers. There are ex-grads that have been here for 10+ years too. There is a strong focus on building your skills, especially for graduates.
Everyone is always willing to help out and fill gaps in knowledge. Enjoy celebrating the milestones - big and small. Give back to the community. Great place to build network, in and out of work hours.
The interview process was a lengthy one. The initial application was followed by a psychometric test, video interview and an assessment centre with a final interview.
Extremely flexible. Work hours start and finish are what suits you (dependent on conversations with managers & given you fulfill hours). Working from home is also very flexible.
