In line with the university's admissions policy and strategic plan, an assessment for admission may include competitively ranking applicants on the basis of specific academic achievement, English language proficiency and diversity factors.

a) will be assessed on:

• the minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) requirement or equivalent for this program,

b) Non school leavers who:

• complete a recognised Australian (or equivalent) post-secondary qualification, or

• complete one standard full-time year (1.0 FTE) of an Australian (or equivalent) degree qualification, or

• complete an approved tertiary preparation course/program without undertaking any further study,

will be assessed on the basis of an equivalent selection rank that is calculated upon application. Non school leavers must also meet any program specific requirements that are listed below.

International applicants

Applicants who complete a recognised secondary/senior secondary/post-secondary/tertiary sequence of study will be assessed on the basis of an equivalent selection rank that is calculated upon application. A Bachelor Degree from ANU from the following list, or equivalent from another institution:

• Bachelor of Arts (Art History and Curatorship)
• Bachelor of Art History and Curatorship

with a weighted average mark of at least 70 per cent across the 36 units of courses with highest final marks, excluding 1000-level courses, that are available in any of the majors and minors on the following list:

• Art History Major
• Asian Art History Major
• Curatorship Minor

and with the written approval of an identified supervisor for THES4102 Thesis

To be eligible for admission to Master of Philosophy program you should have completed a relevant undergraduate degree from an eligible university, or a postgraduate qualification with a significant research thesis component. There must be a supervisor at the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science who is available and willing to supervise your research, and you must have identified a research project.

Admission to a Master of Philosophy degree at ANU requires:

• An Australian Bachelor degree or higher, with an overall grade of distinction or higher, or its international equivalent, or
• Another degree that may be assessed as equivalent to paragraph (1), or
• A combination of qualifications, research publications and/or professional experience related to the field of study that may be assessed as equivalent to paragraph (1).

All applicants must meet the University’s English Language Admission Requirements for Students.

You may be eligible for admission if you can demonstrate that you have significant research experience and a background equivalent to these qualifications.

To be admitted to our Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program you need to have completed an Australian Bachelor Degree with at least Upper Second Class Honours (First Class Honours is usually required) or its international equivalent, or a Master Degree with a significant research thesis component. There must also be a supervisor at ANU

Students must have the written agreement of an identified supervisor in order to enrol in THES8103 Thesis in a specified semester one calendar year in advance of the start date of that semester. Students who do not have the written agreement of an identified supervisor one calendar year in advance, or whose agreed supervisor either subsequently leaves the university or is on leave from the university, will be transferred to the Master of Culture Health and Medicine.

The minimum academic requirement for full entry and enrolment is a Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 6.0/7.0.

However, applicants will first be ranked on a GPA ('GPA1') that is calculated using all but the last semester (or equivalent) of the Bachelor degree used for admission purposes.

If required, ranking may further be confirmed on the basis of:

• a GPA ('GPA2') calculated on the penultimate and antepenultimate semesters (or equivalent) of the Bachelor degree used for admission purposes; and/or

• demonstrating higher-level English language proficiency.

Prior to enrolment in this ANU program, all students who gain entry will have their Bachelor degree reassessed, to confirm minimum requirements were met.

Unless otherwise indicated, ANU will accept all Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualifications or international equivalents that meet or exceed the published admission requirements of our programs, provided all other admission requirements are also met.

ANU uses a 7-point Grade Point Average (GPA) scale. All qualifications submitted for admission at ANU will be converted to this common scale, which will determine if an applicant meets our published admission requirements. Unless otherwise indicated, where an applicant has more than one completed tertiary qualification, ANU will calculate the GPA for each qualification separately. ANU will base assessment on the best GPA of all completed tertiary qualifications of the same level or higher.

Application for course credits

Applicants with a Bachelor Degree or Graduate Certificate in a cognate discipline may be eligible for up to 24 units (one semester) of credit.

Applicants with a Graduate Diploma or Bachelor degree with Honours in a cognate discipline may be eligible for up to 48 units (one year) of credit.

Admission requirements

Applicants must present a Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA 5.0/7.0.

An ANU Graduate Certificate of Management with a minimum GPA 5.0/7.0

Or:

A successfully completed Evidence-Based Management EdX MicroMasters, achieving at least 70% in the final capstone exam.

Applicants without a completed Bachelor's degree (with minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0) or ANU Graduate Certificate of Management (with minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0) or successfully completed Evidence-Based Management EdX MicroMasters (with at least 70% in the final capstone exam), can be considered for admission using a minimum GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) score of 550 or higher plus at least 3 years full-time work experience.
